Hi friend. I’m Stephanie.

I have run a successful consultancy in the corporate world for almost 20 years. As a part of that, I’ve had to be a woman on the internet, engaged in a lot of social media. And, as a part of that, I’ve had to deal with countless men who are, frankly, unbearable

You know the type. They insert themselves into the comments, even when input isn’t necessary, to say useless things like “I don’t find this joke funny.” Or entitled things like “I don’t get it, explain it all to me.” Or stupid things like “This is because of the woke liberals.”

In real life, I just block them. But in my head I want to find their wives and liberate them from what must obviously be an exhausting marriage.

So when I decided to slow down my corporate consulting to make space for a new venture, I knew I wanted to become a divorce coach. This, to me, is a form of women’s liberation.

At this point, I should mention that I’m very aware that much of the positioning and language throughout this site is focused on cis-hetero relationships. That’s a bit intentional, in that I think traditional cis-hetero men have done the most damage and have the most recovery work to do. But toxicity can show up in all sorts of relationships and I can help extract anyone.

I’ve been through the divorce process twice. I initiated both times. Both were somewhat amicable and I credit much of that to the internal work I had to do, the same processes I’ll help you with as well.

I was a single mom for most of my kiddo’s childhood. Now I happily live alone (my son is in college and my boyfriend lives in his own home). I don’t clean up after anyone but my cat. I have peace and quiet. I renovated my dining room with wallpaper that includes two-foot-wide flowers, a decision that is feminine and mine and I love it and I didn’t have to ask permission from anyone.

Before I was a corporate consultant, I was an elementary teacher. That training has made me really good at demystifying processes, laying out doable steps, and explaining things clearly.

I fundamentally believe in everyone's capacity to summon significant amounts of courage and bravery - very much a "you can do this" attitude. I believe in people even when they temporarily question their ability to believe in themselves.

I’m in the process of being certified by Divorce Coaches Academy, with an extra certification in High Conflict Divorce Coaching.
